So, I’m sitting around waiting for the Easter brunch cinnamon rolls to rise while all of you are outside caching on this lovely day, and in the holiday spirit, I started thinking about “peeps”.

Cast your vote in the poll above, and tell us about your experiences and preferences when it comes to peeps: chicks or bunnies? what color? other holiday peeps? childhood memories? Sound off on all things “peeps” here.

(Had an option for “Don’t like Peeps at all” but the poll won’t take a third choice from me. Peep up here.)

I voted for soft, since there wasn’t an option of “it depends”. Hard peeps are good when you’re in the mood for something chewy. But soft peeps are best for spearing with a fork and roasting over the burner on the stove. The pups seem to like them hard. “Old” likes them soft. And let’s not forget that the soft ones can be seen blowing up when nuked for a bit. 😆 It makes for cheep-cheep entertainment for the little kids.

Wow! Lots of peeps haters out there! If the Easter Bunny leaves any at your houses, send them to me (soft ones only, and no nuked carcasses).
