This cache is one of those caches that just doesn’t the notice it should because well it is in the middle of nowhere. Up in Barron County where not many of us go, unless you go to Rice Lake or like me have inlaws that live within 30 miles of here.
Off the beaten path, certainly. Had to bring the water shoes and roll up the pant legs with in 300 feet of parking, since we had a creek to cross. Then a pleasant .25 mile hike, up slowly climbing terrian. If one was to find something to complain about, on the way there I seemed to find all the pickers. The water crossing on the way back actually was very refreshing.

I agree, that is a great cache. GCTRRE

By the way it is one of the 12 caches required for the completion of my northwestern12 pack challenge. Now ya only have 11 left to go.

We’d have to agree. We did it last summer and I know we’re not the only ones to lose a layer of clothing in order to do the crossing. It’s so remote, though, that only the birds and critters would be around to watch.

Definitely our favorite kind of cache.
