Hi all. Thinking about starting this new fun adventure and wondering if there is info out there on where to begin..how to begin…etc.

I’m in the Green Bay area and am thinking of doing my first geocache this weekend.

And the Green Bay area is a great place to start caching. There’s a lot of great caches around…hope you like to solve puzzles, climb trees, and have good eyes for those micros and nanos. The best way to learn is to get out and find. Happy hunting[:D]

Hope you have a GPS receiver to make searching easier! Go to the geocaching.com page, plug in your zip code, find something that shows up near you, try one that doesn’t have too much difficulty or terrain, and go for it. If you can’t find that one, try another. Hook up with another cacher, ask for help here, and keep at it.

Let us know how that first cache hunt goes. And welcome, Aramei!
