We are so excited that Lee (and his wife) from Alamogul will be attending the West Bend $1000 Cache Ba$h. How cool is that? When I first met Lee a few years back he cached under the name Team Alamo. Here’s how the new name came about, ALAMOGUL = ALAMO (CA) & MOGUL (NV).
Alamogul is currently ranked number 1 in the world for total finds and it looks like they will stay up there for quite some time 😆 Tami05/29/2009 at 1:32 am #1908884Wow this is a great area to do some serious power caching their numbers will greatly increase……it will be fun seeing the caches shudder and hide from them…or maybe the caches just jump out of their hidy-holes knowing full well that they have no hope of not being found.

Can you say 35K?
Hope you all can be there to congratulate him and his wife.
He’s looking to team up with some cachers in West Bend on Saturday, Sunday and then on Monday in Milwaukee. Any takers? Tami07/30/2009 at 2:30 am #1908887@marc_54140 wrote:

Had to look that up….
Synonyms for “hoi polloi” include “…commoners, great unwashed, minions, multitude, plebeians, proletariat, rabble, rank and file, riffraff, the common people, the herd, the many, the masses, the plebs, the peons, the working class
I think I’m in there somewhere…

No, I think you fit in under “rabble”. 😛
Just to get back on topic…

Cool. I hope he enjoys the event.I can live with that, just don’t call me unwashed. 🙂 I’m sure he will have a ton of interesting stories to share.
07/30/2009 at 11:30 pm #1908892With NO intention of stirring a pot or a HUGE debate, they only have 179 attended events. I’m impressed.
07/31/2009 at 12:46 am #1908893For last year’s Cache Ba$h, the West Bend Chamber invited Alamogul to attend and they turned them down….this year, I (earth angel) gave Lee a personal invite at GeoWoodstock and that seemed to do the trick.
So we are just tickled that they are coming to Little Ole’ West Bend.Any takers on wanting to geocache with Lee on Saturday to get the new released caches? Or anyone wanting to cache with him on Sunday to get the other caches in West Bend?
One of his cache finds here will be his major milestone of 35K…you could be a part of that. Tami
