I’m looking for some daredevils to join me skydiving early this summer. I’d like to get a group of 5 including myself. I’ve wanted to do this my entire life, and my last chance was cut off because of a motorcycle accident the day before my jump 20 years ago. Since then marriage and a child stopped me from making this dream come true. Now that I have their full support, it’s time to jump in feet first, all puns intended. I’d like to jump within the next month, so contact me ASAP.
The cost of the jump from Sturtevant, WI (Racine co.) is $179 weekdays, or $189 weekends. If I can get 4 more people to join, the price drops to $155 per person. There is an optional fee of $85 for video and still pictures if you’re interested.
C’mon, you know you’ve always wanted to. It’s time to make that dream come true!
06/13/2009 at 8:04 pm #1909612I don’t like falling from anything on accident. I really don’t want to on purpose. Maybe some day, but now isn’t the time for me. Have fun.
06/14/2009 at 2:55 am #1909613There’s no good reason to jump out of a perfectly good airplane.
Have a good time. I’m staying on the ground.
06/14/2009 at 3:34 am #1909614Is there a Level 5 terrain involved there? 😉
With you in spirit but not in body. We’ll watch your YouTube clip.
06/14/2009 at 11:49 am #1909615It’s a blast. I did it before I got married and had kids….I no longer have permission to do it. If you haven’t already done so check out SkyKnights in East Troy.
06/15/2009 at 11:35 pm #1909616Parachuting is the biggest adrenalin rush there is. I have jumped twice and know that for a fact. Is this a static line jump or a tandem jump? Just curious. At this stage of my life I don’t even do evil monkeys hides. 😉
06/16/2009 at 5:30 pm #1909617This will be my first jump so it’s a tandem. It will most likely be my last as well. I’ve put off to many things in life, and this was one of them.

SkyKnights might still do static line jumps for first timers….I did it that way about 18 years ago….
06/17/2009 at 4:49 am #1909619Is this a “Bucket list thing”? There was a point in my life where I thought jumping out of a perfectly good airplane would be fun, but for some reason I have the fear of falling thing…. I have been up many times in private planes but jumping out of one isn’t much of an option.
Running a snowmobile at 115 mph (speedometer, not GPS) legally on a trail is indeed a rush I have experienced. Now to get the last 5 mph to bury the speedometer…..
😈06/17/2009 at 5:30 pm #1909620its not the falling I fear, its the sudden stop when you hit the ground 😯

😈Nope, I’m only 38 and plan on being around for awhile. I’ve recently lost nearly 35 pounds, I’m off of the insulin booster I’ve had to take for years and feel like a new man. Full of energy again, and needing to do something fun. Hopefully lots of things!
06/19/2009 at 5:40 pm #1909622You know, thrill seeker that I am, skydiving is one thing I’ve never wanted to do. Hang-gliding, parasailing, those are things I’d like to do someday.
For some reason, the skydiving doesn’t do it. But have fun. I’ll bet it’s a great rush!
