I am moving at the end of August and am considering hiring movers. I have looked in to Two Men & a Truck and am wondering if anyone else know of reliable, reasonable, good movers in the Appleton/Fox Cities area.

The only good part we had with them was that they did the heavy lifting.07/30/2009 at 1:14 am #1911494I have to agree with Furfool. I never used them first hand, but did some work for them awhile Back, and the stuff they do suprised the heck out of me.
07/30/2009 at 1:16 am #1911495So, if I don’t use them…who do I use?
07/30/2009 at 1:17 am #1911496Sorry… I’ve never hired anyone else to do my moving. And no I am not available that day π

That’s the best I can do for ya.
07/30/2009 at 1:26 am #1911498C’mon -cheeto-, I mean you’re practically my neighbor! π
I don’t normally hire people, but all my friends who said they’d help mysteriously can’t help now. π
Thanks for the help furfool – sometimes even the simplest things (phone book, etc) are forgotten.

All you need to pay Cheeto is a glass of water. Two if it’s over 90 and humid. That’s still a good deal.

I would even provide a variety of cheeto’s – crunchy, puffy, etc. π
07/30/2009 at 3:01 am #1911502Set up an event for this and allow extra logs for the more stuff each cacher moves.

I might even come if you make it an event!

I know I loved Wisconsin Geocachers…this is an interesting idea.
07/30/2009 at 6:53 pm #1911505Hiring other cacher would be great, if you don’t mind all your possessions stuck in ammo cans and lock-n-locks all over the state π

07/31/2009 at 1:21 am #1911506When we moved from Oshkosh to Omro I had a coworker with a senior in HS, wieght lifter/football type, had 3 good buddies, 10 bucks a hour, lunch and all the water they could drink (it was 102 that day). I think with the uhaul truck I spent less than 200 bucks and nothing was broke and I touched nothing heavy! The kids were stoked and went to upper michigan where as 18 yr olds they could get into the casino.
I took the risk of them breaking something and no insurance from them but it all worked out AND there was no well we’ll haul 2 rooms but it can only go in 2 rooms or other brain damage.
Put a flyer up at work or a church group might if you make a donation to one of their trips or something.
