413 caches in a single day…..wow…..
09/09/2009 at 12:47 am #1913940I’d be happy with that in one month. No, I’d be happy with that in 6 months.

I’d be happy with that in a year… or even 3 years.
09/09/2009 at 1:08 am #1913942Wow, I can’t imagine getting 100 caches in that amount of time. 🙂
09/09/2009 at 1:09 am #1913943I remember fondly the first day we found over four caches . . .
09/09/2009 at 1:39 am #1913944yesh!
That is nothing short of amazing!
…and no thanks that many signpost and guard rails would have sent me over the edge…I’d likely never cache again.09/09/2009 at 1:55 am #1913945I saw that, too, and they didn’t split up, either. Wow. Though I think I could do that but once and never want to see another lamppost again.
Lately, we’ve been happy if we even find 20, although there have been a few notable exceptions to that. Contrary to the opinion of several, we have slowed down!

09/09/2009 at 2:23 am #1913948It’s NOT about the Numbers….right?????
09/09/2009 at 2:49 am #1913949DAMNIT why didn’t they call me….
09/09/2009 at 12:28 pm #1913950Goes to show there’s something for everybody in this game, so good for them. I think they ought to send a thank you card to the cache-hiders who set up those power trails though! Did you see the track map? 😯
We’ll stick to puzzles and caches that require us to get out of the car–to each his or her own!
On the Left Side of the Road...09/09/2009 at 12:43 pm #1913951*shakes head*
09/09/2009 at 1:09 pm #1913952doing the math:
This means that including the DNFs they were at a new cache every 3.29 minutes…..assuming that each cache was exactly 524 away…how much time does it take to drive to each cache and how much time left to find and sticker each cache? I’m not quite sold on this actually happening….and yet they found time to eat and drink.
If it is for real I really am amazed.

Some people like the numbers, some people like the challenges, some people like puzzles, some people like long hikes, some people like placing caches, some people like to cache alone, some people like winter caching . . . but we ALL like geocaching!
(But if I wanted sandburrs on my shoes, I would have just gone into the empty lot behind us. 😉 )
