I was doing some caching in Green Bay today and stopped by the 9/11 Memorial near GC13KPE on the Fox River to pay my respects…took a couple of pics. It was a sober reminder to never forget 🙁

There used to be a cache here. It was nice because not everyone knows about this memorial, especially those from out of town. However, other cachers took it upon themselves to remove it. 😥
We were saddened to hear that the kids weren’t told anything about 9/11 in school yesterday. Guess it only takes a few years to forget.
On the Left Side of the Road...I know its a week later, but I thought I would share this link to one of my favorite songs. This was played on the “Tribute to Heroes” telethon that was held to raise money for the 9-11 victims and families. This tribute featured many artists that played music for the telethon. This one I remember watching live, and it happens to be from two of my favorite singers. Eddie was asked if he would attend the event, and was inspired so much he wrote this song just for the telethon in only a few days.
