JimandLinda and jjcool719 announce the birth of our grandson/son this morning at 10:15 a.m. Jackson Joshua is 6# 9 oz., and almost 20″ long.

Seeing him was 1000 times better than any old FTF! We thought we would feel old, being grandparents, but when I (Jim) saw him, I felt 20 years younger and full of energy!

Welcome to our world, Jackson, and congrats to jj and Lori!

Congratulations to all. This is a very special moment and you should relish in it. I hope everyone is doing well and continues to do so. Three cheers for the family.

September is a great month for a birthday. Don’t let our great puzzlers out there (S|S, cheeto, etc.) see this, but JJBaby914’s birthdate + 10’s digit of my age to be + 1’s digit of my age to be = my birthdate. For those of trying to figure it out ( 14 + 4 + 0 = 18 ).

Congrats again to all of you! I was on the phone with “Grandpa Jim” right before he got to the hospital, and shortly afterwards as well, and can tell you he was pretty excited! How quickly he rediscovered he does like babies! I’m guessing grandma and mom and dad are on the same “plane” right now. Caught a little bit of it myself. Looking forward to the photo(s)!
