We took the opportunity of a return from a caching trip Up Nort and a great caching day yesterday to look for some more of the many caches in Lake Wissota State Park. It was a lot less crowded than it was on Picnic Day, and a lot cooler, but a few geotrails still existed, and it was great looking back on the log sheets to see the names of all the people we met and enjoyed spending the day with at the picnic a couple of months ago.
And the park is still a great place to cache, so if you’re in the area, swing by to pick up a few more smileys if you didn’t get all of them in September or if you weren’t able to go to the picnic. Some of them are even “winter friendly”. 😈
