The dynamic duo who call themselves “huffinpuffin2” came off an impressive eleventh hour LCG run and win for November with enough steam to go the last few paces to their 1K milestone yesterday under cover of our first light snow at Tributary | Cache for Old Silver GC214BC.
I have had the distinct pleasure and honor of being the recipient of their considerate and insightful cache logs this year, entries that make you appreciate the effort put in and the enjoyment taken from caches around the valley. As this team widens their radius to reach their next big milestone, you too will come to appreciate their logs and perhaps come to understand why those of us who put a lot of time and thought into creating caches thrive on the inspiration of them to create more lasting and memorable caches.
Thanks for all the memories guys and here’s to working on your Gold!

You may have taken the silver, but you have set the gold standard for cache logs!
On the Left Side of the Road...12/04/2009 at 5:58 pm #1917577Congrats to huffinpuffin2 on their 1K milestone! What an achievement in such a short time. I have enjoyed reading the logs most especially!
12/04/2009 at 6:08 pm #1917578congratulations from the wild side. I suspect you will reach this area soon.

12/04/2009 at 6:42 pm #1917579Congrats on the 1K, a most memorable milestone to reach! We also experienced a most remarkable hide by the same owner for that milestone, in a location we returned to and remember vividly to this day over two years later. Now that was a scenic spot! Well done on your run for the silver, and on to the gold!
12/04/2009 at 7:02 pm #1917580Congrats! Logged several right after your name recently and in many different area’s. You were all over making this run!
12/04/2009 at 7:35 pm #1917581huffinpuffin2 has quickly become a familiar name in many logs we’ve seen.
Congrats on your Silver milestone!12/04/2009 at 8:33 pm #1917582We really appreciate your congratulations here. It means a lot to us…….feels like being welcomed as part of a new family (without the in-laws!?)
We certainly could not have had ANY caching achievements without the opportunities provided by all of the excellent cache owners we’ve had the pleasure of being customers of.
We hope you see a lot of yourselves reflected back by our success – its truly another aspect of your creations; whether they take the form of caches, new friendships, or the gift of kind words.
We’ve certainly had the opportunity to learn and grow from our many encounters and experiences with ‘Best in Class” cache challenges and craft-work. Now it’s payback time! Our hope is to follow that lead, and similarly become responsible and entertaining contributors to this wonderful Kingdom of Caches.
But if we find we can’t cut it on that count, then we WILL strive to be among the best GOLDen oldies in the state!
Many, many thanks!
huffinpuffin2 😀 😆
12/04/2009 at 11:09 pm #1917583Congrats on the 1000 finds, huffinpuffin2! Looking forward to seeing your hunts expand west, and if you get some new hides in place, we’ll be checking those out, too.
