I went searching today for two indoor caches. I didn’t know caches were hidden indoors. Not being too fond of winter, this seems like a way I can keep caching for a while. Is there a bookmark list of indoor caches, or a way to narrow the search for them?

I have only found three thus far: one in San Diego, one in Minneapolis and one in Milwaukee.

Two I can think of right now, both are indoor/outdoor.

I am not aware of a bookmark list. We have found two indoor caches but it would be a bit of a spoiler to post GC#s of either.

I have only found a single ‘indoor’ cache and it’s now archived.

It was inside the same masoleum where my brother and maternal grand parents are buried. Very unique location for a cache… A former WGA Cache of the Month as well.

I too have done a couple of caches in the Fox Valley area that could be classified “indoor”, but hate to post them here because they aren’t mine and I’d hate to spoil the fun not knowing if the owner wants certain facts revealed.

One part is outside and could be tough with snow cover.

How can a GPS get a satellite lock indoors?
