You have one vote and one vote only. Other than yourself who would you use it on? And why?

This is a hard question, but if I only had one vote, I would have to vote for the candidate that seams like their views are most like mine. After reading the forum posts and candidate question answers. The person who I would have to vote for would be….

    labrat_wr (Peter Quella)

If I had a single vote, I think it would be for Brian Kling (Team Black Cat)

Because he opens doors for ladies and stops for people in crosswalks.

And because Brian’s improvement ideas are very good and would be (relatively) easy to implement.

This is a hard decision as so many have done so much. If I had only one vote, I would like to see Dave Secondino make the Board. He has missed out by only a few votes for the past couple election periods but has so much to offer the WGA. He already acts as one of our state volunteer reviewers and proctors the Lonely Cache Game which he has done a great job since its inception.

Disclaimer : Always answering to a higher power.

If I had to vote for only one person running, it would be Pete Labrat_WR. Pete has done alot for the WGA, in helping with the WGA Campout at High Cliff as a Co-Chair, and helping people that post in the forums. Pete is a Great Person, and would do wonderful on the board.

I think I would vote for Brian McKay. As a geocacher who was active in another region of the country before moving here, he brings a different perspective from those of us who are “home grown”, including myself.

I would have to say KOrpl, I am the most familiar with his ideas and what he has done in the WGA.

David Secondino has consistantly shown that he’s willing to go above and beyond for the betterment of geocaching. Being a volunteer reviewer for Wisconsin alone is a huge investment in time, but Dave has also volunteered to manage the Lonely Cache Game and has completed quite a few cache rescues including the very first.
Given only one vote, I would cast it for Team DeeJay.

mine would also go to Deejay. as a reviewer, i believe he has a better understanding of what comes down the official pipeline at the frog pond.

With all the candidates “votes” in, here is the hypothetical vote results:

David Secondino (Team Deejay) – 3
    Pete Quella (labrat_wr) – 2
Brian Kling (Team Black Cat) – 1
    Justin Korpl (K0rpl) – 1
    Brian McKay (uws22) – 1
    Rob England (Averith) – 0
    Barry Butrymowicz (sweetlife) – 0
    Shane Heule (-cheeto-) – 0

    Congratulations to the top 5!
