This may seem like a shameless promotion of my own cache, but I’ve been enjoying reading the logs on this one so much I thought others might enjoy the stories as well. First Splash into Caching (GC22NTD) was placed after a conversation with rsplash40 about his first ever find near this location being archived. The “suggested logging requirements” are to describe your first caching experience. Lots of great stories so far. I’m hoping people keep the trend going with more visits coming with warmer weather. At this rate, I might just have to compile them into a book!
It is fun idea and a nice little spot to stop, drop a line in the water, watch the train go over the bridge, and grab some good pizza nearby.
While you are there you could take a look NE past the railroad bridge and give a “salute” to the pinkish buildings in the distance.
