Today I got my new Colorado 300 (Me likey)
I also got myself a Premium membership so I can take advantage of paperless caching.

I went and ran a PQ, found zero results (Did something wrong), got an email saying I got zero hits.

I tried running another one, got 500 hits… Waited a while, never got the email.

Tried again, 500 hits… Waited, still no email.

What am I doing wrong and what exactly do I have to do to get that elusive gsx file?

let’s start with the obvious one first: did you check the day of the week?

On my first attempt, yes. My next attempt, I checked all of them. 3rd attempt I didn’t check any.
    I think.

Be sure that you clicked the DAY you want the PQ to run. It’ll only run once a day, so you may have to create a new one.

are each of these attempts original pq’s? or 3 attempts on the same one?

Thanks. I’ve now got a map flooded with cache icons.
Checking the Wednesday box did the trick. Not sure why the Generate PQ failed earlier.

I take that back about having a map full of cache icons. Not the case.

The ones I have on my map are the ones I manually sent to my GPS using the “send to GPS” button.

I’ve downloaded and extracted the GPX file from my email, put it in the GPX folder on the garmin drive…

What doesn’t seem right about the file is that it reads as 0 bytes, and my GPSr doesn’t seem to be making use of it.

I ran another one.. 2.5MB.. That seems a little more like it. Trying this again.

Got it. 500 caches loaded. This should keep me busy for at least a day or two. 😀
