The WGA Board is considering creating a WGA Pathtag.

Please choose a response to the poll that best represents your interest in purchasing a WGA Pathtag. Proceeds from the sale will go to operating the WGA.

Our initial intent is to produce a Pathtag with artwork similar in theme/colors to the winning artwork that is chosen for the 2010 WGA Geocoin. However, we cannot guarantee that they will be similar due to the Pathtag’s smaller size.

What is a Pathtag?
Pathtags are personal trading items. Used most often in Geocaching, they are also very handy for Scouting, Military and Promotional use. A Pathtag is a single-sided custom metal tag about the size and weight of a U.S. Quarter. Pathtags are not typically traveling items such as Geocoins or Travel Bugs. They are generally used as personal “signature items” for Geocaching or other trade item. If found, simply log it and the tag’s profile will display for you to view. Many geocachers & WGA members collect Pathtags and they are often sold as fundraisers for organizations like the WGA. Pathtags are much less expensive than geocoins typically costing around $2.00 (actual cost of a potential WGA pathtag has not yet been determined) To compare, a WGA geocoin might cost approximately $10 – $15 (actual cost of the 2010 WGA Geocoin has not yet been determined)
