Hard to believe the Escanaba Meet & Greet is in its fifth year but it’s rolling around again on April 17, 1-4 pm at a new location, the Infinity Coffee House next to the Swedish Pantry on Ludington St., Escanaba.

The competition will be on again. Which state will provide the most attendees? Michigan or Wisconsin. I think Wisconsin is in the overall lead so far. Hope to see even more this year!

I’m gonna try and place a few caches on M-35. I already have a couple caches on M-35 and will do more as well as a few more around town for you guys to find when you pass through next month.
We are having some pretty major family obligations issues with several geocaching events we rarely miss. Looks like this is going to be one of them this year. Bummer, we always enjoy going to Escanaba. Getting low on Laurie’s soap too.

Those of you coming up on Highway 41 from the south need to be aware that Menominee is undergoing road construction on highway 41 from 23rd Ave to 30th ave. The detour will probably add on to maybe 5 to 10 minutes of travel time depending on traffic.
Also, those of you coming in from the west on 64 need to be aware that Hall Avenue in Marinette is also under construction. Simply follow the detour signs and keep in mind that will add about 10 to 15 minutes travel time depending on traffic.
M-35 north of Menominee is clear and ready to go.
I’ll keep everyone posted as the event gets closer.
