It was reported to me earlier in the day from Smashing (via a text message) that he found the cache. 2 years 4 months and so many odd days since it was published and he gets FTF. Glad it was in Illinois 😆 talk about points for the lonely cache game. WTG Smashing, I cant wait to talk about it when we go metal detecting next week.
I swear he has that lucky horse shoe stuck someplace. 😯

WTG! I don’t feel too bad that a flatlander didn’t get the FTF! 😀
I was glad i was there to see the event. WTG Smashing Ground
Way to go Smashing Ground. Ya it took a Wisconsinite to find the cache. Thanks for sharing the FTF with the rest of us. 😈
Way to go guys. 😀
I remember when this cache was discussed in the forums here. Not to far from where I grew up. Glad Smashing and the group could knock this one off for the Cheese folks. Congrats!
I looked up this cache and found a couple of strange things about the cache owner.
1) their status is “banned premium member”
2) they are currently still hiding new caches and logging finds
So much for being banned?
Is this that infamous one with a jillion DNFs? If so, way to show them how Wisconsin cachers do it, Clayton! Big congrats!
I don’t get the banned thing either. If they are indeed banned How can they still be placing and logging caches? I guess an administrator needs to answer that
Way to go, Clayton ❗ You da MAN 😀
