The following motion was recently approved by the WGA Board:

“Whereas several WGA members expressed interest in purchasing a WGA produced Pathtag. Evidenced by an informal forum poll, with nearly 50% responding indicating they would purchase at least one WGA pathtag and 22% indicating they might purchase at least one WGA pathtag. Also most poll respondents would not purchase pathtags instead of a WGA 2010 Geocoin. . . .”

We all owe a big thank you to the Geocoin committee that worked on this project. They have done an awesome job.

The members of the geocoin committee are:

The WGA might be able to make a deal with Geocoin Club. MiGO sells their pathtags thru their site at 20 for $20 and MiGO gets a part of the sales, this way there no shipping or packaging etc… just a thought. Maybe use the winning coin design or one of the runner ups for the pathtag idea.

As my wife (wingwalker) is a total pathtag collecting freak I think I better get a set of these. Will make a great gift for her. Now just to decide a gift for what? I guess if the set comes in a holder I should get 1 or 2 extras for her necklace.

I didn’t notice an estimated availability date for these….?

BTW the pricing is set well on these and they should fly off the shelves.

Hope to have ordered by the end of the week, the site says ships 4 to 6 weeks after that.

Very cool…now I just need someone to pick me up a set at the next WGA event (possibly they will be in time for the campout)…..anyone near me wanna pick me up a set….?

The geocoin committee is keeping an eye on those who post interest on this thread. Please continue to post your interest in purchasing the sets.

We’re also looking at cost/labor effective ways to make these available to members outside of coming to the WGA events. Obviously if shipping is involved, there will be an additional charge in addition to the item cost.

The order has been placed.
