Been having trouble starting up my PC the last few days, bad trouble. Once it’s up and running everything seems OK. Today I got an error message on a blue screen at start up that reads:

    win32k.sys

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

    Any ideas?

If you have it running, leave it running, go get a usb hard drive or thumb drive and back up everything you want to keep.

If you got the official BSOD screen, google the (0x000000c, 0x,….) numbers, generally someone has already seen it.

did a google on your error. here is a potential source of remedy.
I can’t tell you if any of it is right or not. It may give you some options.
I don’t understand half of what they are talking about……..

I took it upon myself to just remove a recent JAVA update and everything seems to be working normally again. Lets hope it stays this way!

PS: I have a Rocketfish External after learning the hard way a few years back!!!
