Now here’s a dynamic team that has left dust trails around the Valley and elsewhere throughout the world since last spring. While they have been in the game for a bit less than five years, ninety-five percent of their finds have been in the past eleven months. 😯 Now, that’s cachin’ fire! In spite of their torrid pace, one of the members of this team has found the time to notch a handful, well, several handsful of FTFs in the past few months.
I threatened to do another one of these mystery milestones for them if someone else who might have noticed didn’t step forward. Where is Lisa when you need her? 😉
The not so googleable hint from the higher terrain milestone find (sorry, Jim): “Decided to leave the flip flops home this time so that I had better footing.”
As with other mystery milestones, PAFs and tours are welcome, however, spoilers, though they can’t be deleted, could be held back till at least the STFO (second to find out) posts their smiley along with the number of the milestone in a format something like 😀 x 1234.
04/25/2010 at 8:27 pm #1927960Sorry I won’t blow this one, and don’t consider this a first to post. I don’t have a clue who it is. One more spoiler by me and I may set off a new round of archived caches. 😆
04/25/2010 at 9:44 pm #1927961I know, I know, I know!
(But I’m not sayin’ nuttin’!)😈 😈 😈
04/25/2010 at 10:41 pm #1927962Well, you could at least safely say CONGRATULATIONS.
😀 X Sen Hachi Hyaku!
Ooops, another hint. 😉
04/25/2010 at 10:56 pm #1927963Yeah, that was on the tip of my tongue there, Sagasu… 🙄
But, sure…
CONGRATULATIONS!
😀 X Sen Hachi Hyaku!04/26/2010 at 12:21 am #1927964Congrats to Sandlanders on the FTFO, subject to confirmation, of course! 8)
It appears this puzzle doesn’t lack any difficulty, or maybe nothing will keep cachers in now that the rains have stopped. I wish I could claim the STFO, but I’m the owner of the puzzle and that would be like logging your own hide. 😯 Hmm… yet another hint in there somewhere?
Congrats again to the milestone team, soon to be identified for her accomplishment on Friday…..
04/26/2010 at 1:11 am #1927965Kind of had a sneaking suspicion who it was based on the hints, but something still seemed lacking in the description.
Congrats ###########! 8)
You’ve sure been getting around a lot lately!…and I mean that in the most flattering way. You need to make your way back down my way and conquer a few more of my caches now that you’ve done Dave’s challenging little cache.
04/26/2010 at 1:39 am #1927966I like this, Dave! Nothing better than a good puzzle.
Congrats to the still unnamed honoree.04/26/2010 at 2:23 am #1927967It does appear Jay has claimed the STFO, so future solvers can feel free to lack nothing in their congratulations, neither the name nor the number! 😉 Congrats on #1800 at (GC25XAR), where you didn’t wear the flip-flops or fall down! 😀
04/26/2010 at 2:38 am #1927968ZOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM! Congratulations on your milestone, Lacknothing!
04/26/2010 at 2:40 am #1927969Ditto! 😀
04/26/2010 at 3:09 am #1927970Congratulations on another milestone.
04/26/2010 at 2:26 pm #1927971And congrats from me too 😀
Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
04/26/2010 at 2:40 pm #1927972So I guess we can officially congratulate Lacknothing on find #1800. That sneaky Sagasu doesn’t want things to be too easy (as in the sneaky Pete’s 1K, if you remember 😉 ), but the shining light triumphs over the sneakiness, so bask in the glow of 1800 smileys!
