I read last week that the Ice Age trail folks are in the habit of giving away lands that they buy and that down the road do not fit in with their plans. Case in point is the Hartland area properties. They are trying to find a taker for those properties…County or city. So in the not too far off future these may become a city or county owned park…they cannot be built upon however as they original sale to the IAT folks came with grant from the government (or something like that) which has strings attached to the land about building…and those strings carry on to the next owner.

Long story short these might become a nice caching playground in the future when a new owner is found.
