Resets are done by pressing a sequence of the buttons you normally use (although we’re not sure which ones or even if that will solve the problem). Garmin customer service is usually pretty good, although the wait on the phone is long sometimes. Give them a call and describe the problem. They’ll be able to either figure out the answer or offer some options. We had an eTrex Legend Cx that was out of warranty conk out once and they sent us another one (refurbished) for nothing.
