    Town of Nepeuskun Series Final

This new series just came out about 24 hours ago and I highly recommend it. This series highlights some of the core concepts of caching including accurate coordinates, varied terrain, exploring the great outdoors, good research, and a well laid out series. It’s doesn’t feature any of the basic park and grab caches but instead requires you to get out and walk a bit. The terrain varies from trails, to grassy fields, to lightly wooded areas. This is exactly the type of terrain that makes classical geocaching a great experience.

The “backstory” included with each of the caches provides some appreciation for the history of this area. Example – Who would have known the Anti-Horse Thieves only meet once a year with the main dish being oyster based.

Looks like it’s a pretty cool and well thought out series. And the fact that’s it’s practically in my back yard is a definite bonus. I’ll have to find time to do it (as well as the Mascoutin Trail ones!)

➡ YES, this is an excellent series.

We got to do two of them this past weekend.
    GC282JV and GC283YE

Some very interesting historical footnotes to read about in the cache write ups.

Also, read the logs by CodeJunkie..they are….as always….a treat in and of themselves. Classics ❗

Yup! Worth the time, even in the sloppy weather! 😀

Can’t wait to find the Strawberry! 🙄
