When I was home this weekend I grabbed a copy of my hometown paper and low and behold front page article on geocaching. Scroll down to May 3 and it’s the third article. You can tell its written by a non-cacher but it’s not to bad.
Medallions, huh? Meh, at least the concept is outlined. Very cool article.

A very easy to understand article! I think “medallion” was used, rather than “Travel Bug” tag, as newbies might actually think there are “bugs” in the containers. Good judgement call, and good promo for the hunt! 😀
You thought TB, I thought Geocoin. But I guess that might not be the best to promote either, as coin implies value (ie; money.) Medallion implies trinket (ie; worth nothing.) Might create more thieves than cachers.
