We did our first drawing for the BSA Geocoins for those who have turned in cards found in caches locally. There was 1 winner for March and two for April.

    CONGRATULATIONS TO…

    March Winner: splash40
    April Winners: lightening02 and rsplash40

There are still plenty of cards available in caches and they are replaced when missing. Only one entry per team per month please. Thank you and good luck.

WE picked up a card at one in Rhinelander near the Boy Scout Camp.

There are two series, the Cache to Eagle series, and the Pillars of Scouting series. Not all of the cache to Eagle series have cards, but all of the Pillars caches do. There are 5 Pillars caches, one in Rhinelander (GC27TVQ), one in the Wausau area (GC25PA0), one in Medford (GC27RK9), one near Babcock (GC26KH9), and one near Junction City (GC27J07)

So the Babcock cache — the one I was 100 feet away that I bailed on a FTF opportunity — contained a chance for me to win a geocoin?

It seems “Be Prepared” is part of the motto. I guess having a flashlight would be covered under that part of the motto

We will be drawing two more winners in the next day or two (MAY). Please get your cards in. Remember, one entry per month and one per team. Also, (sorry rsplash40) you may only win one time. Happy caching.
