We bought this GPS used (and cheap) for our grandson Samson a couple of years ago. Now it is acting up.
With fresh batteries, all it does when trying to power up is flash the LCD screen. No display shows up.
Suggestions or ideas? I’m pretty sure it is not worth putting any money in to. Or does anybody have an old Garmin (which I am more familiar with) they’d care to donate to a worthy cause?
A setting may have gotten changed on the GPS’r. Try holding the power button for several seconds instead of just pressing it. If it powers up, you’ll just need to change the power on settings.
