Yes.. Oh, that’s right I mentioned it to you! Laughing, so it works well on your phone? I started playing with it, but then ended up not doing a WhereIgo so never did finish.

This is very intriguing. I’m curious to see where it’s going to lead as it definately provides an alternative to the normal specific devices. I wonder if they build a better builder too?

i use WhereYouGo on my droid… i’ve used it for a few here in Madison. it works great, no glitches on either run. i’ve also downloaded a new way to search. no more following the compass arrow… i have radar!

I downloaded successfully to my BB pearl. Now to figure out how to download the WhereIGo cart. Lost Data signal earlier and haven’t gotten back to it to try again.

Well, I got the two WhereIGo carts nearest to home loaded to the BB. Also, reloaded the OpenWIG with the latest and greatest (I hope) version.

A little confused on how this is supposed to operate.
I enabled the internal GPS connection and that seems to be working fine.
On the main page of the cart when I start, I can get to the compass for navagating but if I go any further, I get the menu and it shows me nothing. Do I need to be in the trigger zone before anything shows up?

I have to travel like 60 miles for a whereigo, so as soon as I get to one, I will try it out.

From what I understand you need to be in the zone for the game to begin. However, on the WhereIgo site there are a couple of demo links with open areas. I downloaded the one and it started to work but I wasn’t in a big enough area to try it fully.
I’m hoping that the few times I need to do a WhereIgo that this works fine.

YaHoo! Got in the zone and the OpenWIG player functioned great!
Did the Tour and made the final find and signed the log.

Interested to see how it performs on a more complex WhereIGo.

it took me like 9 hours yesterday to figure out how to get it to work on whereigo but i finally figured it out… 🙂 now i am really starting to like my htc only if the battery lasted longer than 5 hrs.

Tried the whereyougo Droid player today and it is far better than the garmin app in terms of speed of response, no crashes, and a better UI. Only hitch we had was that the internal gpsr seemed off compared to a native gps unit, by about 30 feet, so we had to wander a bit for some zones. That could be a problem if you had a zone by an area you could not enter, like a building or water.

There are some very fine Wherigos in Wisconsin after getting almost all of them as we drove through Wisconsin. Very much enjoyed finding them.

If you drive to West Michigan you’ll have your choice of probably 30+ Wherigo caches in one area.
