My niece has lost her dog in the Leopolis area just west of Shawano while they were at their cottage. It has been 4 weeks now and the dog has been sighted many times in and around town and has been fed by many people. It is a small Pug with a Pink collar and goes by the name Lois. She seems to have been able to avoid the predators higher up the food chain so must have found a safe place to hide out. She is becoming quite a legend in the area.
Seeing that we all are often out caching if any one sees or can catch her let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: She has been spotted just outside Tigerton, in the area of

Seems that she has been seen quite a bit around Caroline the last 2 days.

Any updates on the whereabouts of lost Lois?? Our little Jag is very concerned and wanted us to take a run up to search for her, but we have been unable to get away. We have our paws crossed that she will be home soon.

Today, August 10, 2010, Lois has finally been found. her owner sat on the ground where she was seen the most. Lois came out of the brush, ran up to her, jumped in her lap and started licking her face!!! 5 weeks and 4 days and no worse for wear. Very happy ending for a very frustrating saga. Thanks everyone for looking at this post.
