The past few months there has been a pair of moose hanging around the Phelps area. The past few weeks there has been a huge bull moose spotted in Conover. Thought cachers might want to know as the rut is about to begin and those moose can be rather obnoxious. Saw the show last night “Moose on the Loose” where even a four posted flower box looked good enough to jump for one bull.

Well, how cool is that? Thanks for posting. We have a place up there and are kind of excited to think there are moose hanging around. We’ll be up next weekend, so we’ll be watching!
By the way, you’re right about watching out for them. We’ve been in Alaska a lot and have been told often not to get too close. You see them all over Anchorage and they don’t go sprinting off (like deer) when they see humans.
