Jar42 made two trips out to our beleaguered cache “RAC: Oak, Pine, or Aspen?“, battled coordinates that were jumping around due tree cover and wind, endured some vagueness and outright goofs on the cache page, and even found a new WP6 for us to use after the loggers whacked the previous site, all in his quest for a well-earned find #1000!

Thanks for the assistance on this one, Jim, and big congrats on the 1K milestone!

In case you don’t recognize this cache, it was published late Thursday night before the picnic at Roche-A-Cri, and it takes seekers on a long walk down a trail that currently has partial closures due to the logging. The cache still hasn’t been totally debugged yet, so we don’t blame the picnic attendees for passing on this one, if they even knew of its existence at the time.

What is “Congratulations on the 1K milestone”?

What is “I thought that was a cool cache idea for a puzzle?” And what a fun milestone to pick for the 1K club. Only 9000 more until you’re into the 5 digit club.

Congrats, great choice for a milestone. We wanted to try this one at the picnic, but ran out of time. I hope it stays around for a while so we get another chance for it. Congratulations on the find and your persistance.
