The last couple of times we were browsing the Recent Logs, we noticed a cache or two that had several (anywhere from 6 to over 20) found logs by a single cacher (different one each time). Surely this wasn’t intentional, but what causes that? Is it logging from a phone or what? Just wondering.
10/18/2010 at 1:00 pm #1937590A couple times when I posted a log in the field from my phone, it would say some type of “failure to post log”, so I would either try again in the field or post when I got home. But then a day or two later, my phone logs would post on their own, causing a double or triple post.

Was it the Navarino Event? That one had multiple “attended” logs from logging temporary caches.
.
10/18/2010 at 1:36 pm #1937592there’s a puzzle cache in appleton that also allows multiple found it logs if you so desire. There is a multi in wausau that has logs to sign at each wp some people log each one online as well. There is a regular in oshkosh that allowed a 2nd log too.

On the Left Side of the Road...10/18/2010 at 1:47 pm #1937594Perhaps a system glitch or maybe a phone filed log issue, but surely something technology related. I had six identical “found it” logs on Across the River Styx by the same cacher yesterday as well. They aren’t there anymore, but they certainly were yesterday when I got six separate but identical notifications that the cache was found.

10/18/2010 at 2:00 pm #1937596And I thought my double and triple posting in the forums was a problem. I feel like an amateur now.

No, these just appeared to be traditional caches, not events or multis. The logs were all identically worded.
