Last Friday I placed a cache in a cemetery in Pittsville. Another cacher placed one the same day, probably within an hour of when I was there, in THE SAME TREE. Mine was submitted first, so theirs was disallowed by the reviewer. They went to pick up thier container yesterday, and found that it had been signed. They then found my cache, 6 inches away from theirs, and opened it up to find a blank log. Do I disallow the original FTF who found the wrong cache? Or do I allow a co-FTF between all three of them? The cache is GC2GRKZ if you want to read the logs 😆

All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

Considering how close together they were I would allow the logs. I had someone try to hide a cache about 30′ from one of mine. When it was rejected they just left it there. Several cachers found it and logged it as mine. Mine was a well hidden micro and the other one was a regular size so I disallowed their logs. I also have had problems with temporary Boyscout caches being hidden near mine and then left there after their events were over. Hopefully the scouts are more educated now after this year.

That’s too funny. I’m not big into FTFs, but I suppose I’d let all of them have it. After all, TJS had no way of knowing that there were two containers there. And the other two found the actual container first. So yeah, let them all bask in the feeling.

Co-FTFs. Everyone’s all in the same central WI caching “family” here.

or if no clear winner emerges from all of this, a two-man sack race will be held on consecutive Sundays until a champion can be crowned.
        😆

        Nice story…..and a happy ending.
