      Looks like it’s this cache GC1V36Y based on the description and the find date.

        Gee. That “suspicious” male was me. The cache was not exactly on school ground but at a ball field next to the school. Looks like TKKS will have to call them and explain the placement.

        I apologize if I scared anyone, but I would have thought the cache was known in the neighborhood after 93 previous finds.

          We did this one a month or so ago and it seemed as the neighbors knew it was there as one of them kind of nudged me in the right way. I’m guessing it was a new neighbor. It looked like it was quite a distance from the school but I guess we all do look kind of suspicious at every cache we do.

            Todd – The boys in blue will be knocking on your door shortly. That definately trumps my “arson” story by far.

            Funny in a twisted sort of way, that the authorities are this stinking clueless about a traditional cache placement.

              February 4th of last year, I would’ve made the news when I found the cache. I remember it was quite a distance from the school and part of the city park.

                        I was just reading some of the posts about this on the PressGazette site and OMG. All the articles say it was on the school property so it is making TKKS look bad but I know this was in the park, not the school.

                              If that is the cache in question I feel bad for the CO who was the same one on GC166HZ. That one was hanging on a tree in the middle of a city park.

                              I know this has the potential to start a whole ‘nuther argument on the matter but I put this out here because it’s news we need to be aware of.

                                It wasn’t like this was a new cache either. It’s been out since June of last year and had over 90 visits. Guess I’ll have to wear a sign that says I’m geocaching so the same doesn’t happen when I’m out caching in parks.

                                  I’m heading over to my local cop shop in a few minutes so they don’t have to come to me – lol. I’ll let you guys know how it goes.
