We are looking for a caretaker for all the caches we own in the Shawano County Cemetery series. Bookmark list is:

About 60-ish of the caches on here are ours.
For the most part these are low maintenance hides but, as always, some issues do come up, and we are finding ourselves with inadequate time to look after the series.
Interested, please PM me. I want one owner for all our currently-owned caches in the series, not just some of them.
On the Left Side of the Road...11/16/2010 at 3:32 am #1938444Well, I have found a home for this series, so thank you to Lander & Lancelot, Lone Gunman, and frmr.
It will take a while to get these adoptions done!
I simply don’t have enough time to give this series the attention it deserves from a maintenance standpoint. I did when we placed it or I wouldn’t have placed it, but greater and greater involvement in Scouting over the past few years has taken pretty much all our spare time that had gone into caching, but that’s by no means a regret. Adding Cubmaster to my duties this year was pretty much the deciding factor.
This is an extremely difficult and bittersweet decision for team gotta run, and me in particular. I can’t tell you how much time went into researching this series. Great memories, but I know the series is in good hands.
A parent only has a very small window of time in which to have an impact on his son (or daughter), and that time is now…

The time that I spent as Cubmaster and Scoutmaster with my son were some of the best times of my life. My son has been out of Scouting for 6 years now, but I am still HEAVILY involved. Thank you, GR, for taking the time and making the effort to make an impact not only on your son, but o all the Cubs in your Pack.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

11/29/2010 at 8:28 pm #1938449I am also glad to see you have them adopted. I almost pulled the trigger and grabbed them, but I would have been in the same boat. An hour away from a bunch of caches. I also helped repair several of them over the past year and happy to see they will live on.
