I guess this proves the point though. Weight loss = burning more calories than you take in.
I’d be curious to see the same study done (i.e. a 1/3 reduction in calories, but do it with whole grains, vegetables, lean protein, etc.). I think you’d see similar results and the health side effects would be even better.
The “Twinkie” diet is obviously a FAD diet similar to Atkins and all those other “extreme” diet plans. Short term success with long term consequences.
Think about it this way……twinkies last forever……you too could last forever!
