At this point, the predicted Big Snowstorm has been nothing more than your usual December snows. I suppose the big stuff might still be coming, who knows? We decided not to go anywhere and get stuck.

So, what’s happening in the rest of the state now?

We’ve got about 2″ of new stuff but we all know how that can change in a couple hours time. Going to be watching the radar closely as I would like to make it to Appleton (and Back) later today.

Craphas here. What else?!!! 4-5″ of new stuff that Mr. S just shoveled around the bird feeders. It’s supposed to pick up even more later today, and the wind will make it worse. Right now it’s coming down pretty good.

Don’t hold your breath for it to improve for the Appleton venture, Labrat.

Everyone, stay safe on the roads, and don’t overdo with the shoveling. And watch out for the subzero wind chills. Caching is only a game.

I just saw where Mrs. Bandits posted on fb that they have a good 4-6 inches already, with 10-15 predicted.

Nice day to stay home and bake and sew and other fun stuff. I guess we still have a coupon code for two free movies, too.

Sitting here in Milwaukee and not a drop or a flake here. I don’t know when it is going to hit. But I put in a beef roast in the slow cooker for dinner so I can hunker down so I don’t have to go anywhere. Everyone keep posting would like to hear whats going on around the state. Living my life through the WGA forums lol.

Less than an inch here so far. This is WI, bring on the snow.

This afternoon – the church’s youth group is going caroling to the nursing homes so that’s where CamoQueen and I are headed. For dinner is a nice pot of Cheesy Brocoli Cauliflower Soup. Maybe I’ll have to make some homemade baking powder biscuits to go with it.

the snow is beginning to fall here again, not hard but its the small fast falling flakes not the pretty fluffy ones. Looks like travel today will be on an Emergent basis only in a few hours.

now, what to put in the DVD player — Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, or the Mr Bean collection. Other choices, Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon box set, Hogan’s Heros, Pinky and the Brain.

3″ of light powder and an assisting breeze.. Easy to shovel – just toss it in the air, and on to the neighbor’s it blows. 😈

Of course, we’re shoveling the stuff the upwind neighbor shoveled onto us a few ours ago 🙄

    Could be worse:

6 inches here, and still coming. Roads are not plowed yet. I am about 3/4 shoveled out, but it keeps coming.

Just a couple inches here..not sticking to main roads as passing cars keep the snow from accumulating. But I’m sure it will get worse as day goes on.

38 degrees and no rain or snow yet here in Grafton along Lake Michigan.Damn, I knew I shouldve went up to Kaukaukna and attacked the military series. Stupid weather people & their scare tactic propaganda.

Still nothing. Last bank we went past said 38 degrees. Just a bit foggy on the route back and forth to the Have a Very Merry Breakfast event.

Well, this was funny. Dick was out shoveling, and this camera man from the news station comes over and says, “I’ve never seen anyone work so efficiently with a shovel!”

Dick…”I’m a Yooper, this is how it’s done.”

So this guy got down really low to the ground to take slow motion footage of him shoveling, LOL. Guess we’ll have to watch the “other” news station tonight.

just an inch here in Portage and it has stopped snowing for the moment. Cancelled an Appleton trip as the coming wind has us worried. Made 40 chocolate mice instead.
