Hello, I’m an old newbie (did geocaching a lot about 8 years ago and now I’m back) and now I have a 3 year old who will be tagging along with me this year. I’ve got a long-term goal to visit all the falls in Wisconsin and I was wondering if anyone could recommend some caches that will bring us to falls that have easy terrain for my daughter? I’m in Madison but we’ll be doing a lot of traveling around the state camping this year.

    Thanks!

    Ally

Here is a link to Marinette County Website and the waterfall tours there

      Here are Florence County’s

This will help as some are a far walk and the listings should tell you that.

Both these counties are in Far Northeast WI and with the other caches in the area will easily fill a weekend.

Morgan’s Falls near Ashland is pretty scenic, though there are a few rocks along the trail. Stephen’s Falls in Gov. Dodge State Park is also nice.

Sadly, in 4+ years we only have found 14 Wisconsin waterfalls that qualify for Zuma’s Wisconsin Falling Water Challenge GC1XKGZ. You need at least 26 finds to qualify for the challenge cache. But we’ll keep working on it.

If we would’ve been around here when we started caching… Oh well

I would love to find more waterfalls in Wisconsin. I say that I’m working on that challenge but, well, it’s slow going.
