What I find interesting about this one is, based on several reports I have read, the geocache was deemed nonhazardous by the bomb squad. I don’t know if they removed it, but it is not reported that the bomb squad blew it up.

That result is certainly different from what has happened here over the last few years. Interesting.

I thought that Disney does not allow caches on their property.

You are correct, sir! GC.com only has virtuals there.

Might be an unapproved cache from a ‘competitor?’ Or it really is – a – ….. 😯

Pretty sure it is not ‘Disney-approved.’

Whatever kind of “suspicious device” it was, it didn’t get blowed up…apparently…

Actually it was a mystery cache, GCRFNN. The location was not within the park but in a public access area of Disney property. The approved location was not on Disney property, but the final was moved at some point. This is a good example of why we need to always ask permission on private property, something that Wisconsin cachers are generally very good about.

Very surprised it lasted in that location for over 5 years.
