Hudson, Wisconsin is celebrating The 99th anniversary of the historic national automobile route known as the Yellowstone Trail. From 1912-1930 this primitive route carried travelers from Plymouth Rock across America to Puget Sound. Lots of activities are planned in the Hudson area from May 13-15, 2011 commemorating the historic route.
As Hudson is one of the most geocacher friendly cities in America we have all been invited to join with local cachers for coffee and breakfast Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 8:30 am – 10:30 am at Dick’s Bar & Grill, 111 Walnut Street in Hudson, WI. (GC2PEZH) Come, meet with friends, make new ones, trade trackables, and join in the door prize activities.
A CITO event following the breakfast will kickoff from Lakefront Park on the St. Croix River at 11:00 am.
Circle May 14th on your calender then alone or with friends come and join the fun!
Looks like a few new caches are scheduled to pop up in the Hudson area in the next few days. Come and meet the locals for a stick to your ribs breakfast and bloody mary’s mmmmmmmmmmmmm
See you there?
