Val and I went and did the Battleship series in Wausau this weekend, granted finding 100 micros in road signs gets a bit tedious, but Saturday was a bit gloomy and the series takes you on some nice county roads thru out Marathon County. Prob ends up to be around 200 Miles to finish the whole series, and could be done in a single day, we finished the 10×10 grid on Sat and saved the 6 final caches for Sunday morning. There was a lot of work that went into this series, and I’m sure a bit of upkeep in the future.
I hope to do you series in a few weeks. Can’t wait
We were very disappointed. We were up in the area on Easter visiting family, and decided to grab a few of these along X near the airport. Much to our dismay, half of the ones we were seeking were gone! Why do people have to trash our sport?
It’s such a neat series. We hope to work on it some more when we come back. If I were the owner, I’d change the location of the missing ones, just to keep the trashers from doing it again.
Due to problems on Cty Rd X, only ships and final is left. The grid is all archived! There was an individual taking caches from cty rd x and placing them in a cache on Shady Ln. GRRRRR!
that is too bad, this was a fun series.
Dang it. Now I can’t finish the series.
You actually weren’t kidding. Rats had days picked out to
Fill out the calendar
Well, the ships are still floating….. coords for ships are on waypoints.
just to keep the trashers from doing it again.
