Only 10 days left until the event!!
Many new permanent caches are being placed for the event.
The event is open to all to attend. You do not need to camp nor attend the entire weekend to attend. Stop on by Friday night, or anytime Saturday, or for the Pancake Breakfast on Sunday.
Don’t forget we’re having a separate CITO event (http://coord.info/GC2PW17) on Saturday at Hartman Creek as well. Groups will start at 1pm and 3pm and we will be pulling invasive Garlic Mustard at the park.
Visit the campout event page (http://coord.info/GC2PJZW) for a detailed schedule of events.
If you are planning on camping (or haven’t yet decided!) and have not yet registered and/or paid for a spot on the group camp sites, there’s still plenty of time. Visit the WGA event page (http://wi-geocaching.com/modules.php?name=Events&EventID=392) to register for camping and the pancake breakfast. And the WGA store (http://wi-geocaching.com/modules.php?name=CCart) is still open to pay for camping fees and buy 2010 WGA Geocoins and Campout event pathtags — both can be picked up at the event.
Whether you’re camping or not, also indicate your “Will Attend” on the Geocaching.com Event page to get any last-minute announcement posts made to the event page.
Note: Wisconsin State Parks require a fee for parking and daily/season passes are available at the park office or online. Also, if you are 16+ and are planning to participate in the fishing derby, you must have a valid 2011 WI Fishing License.
