I got the following email today requesting geocaching help for the leadership kids and staff from Youth Go in Neenah-Menasha. This is a drop-in center that draws a lot of middle- and high-school at-risk kids who seem to fall between the cracks at school and community. Our son worked there for a year or so, and Gram & I took them geocaching one time for this same camp-out. We had a good time, and with 30-some caches at HCSP now, there are a lot more available than when we did it.
“Hello Jim,
This is Kelly from Youth Go.
I recently was in touch with Jason and he suggested I reach out to you. We are taking our Youth Go Leadership Camping Trip next week Wednesday-Friday at Hartman Creek State Park. I was wondering if you and your lovely wife might be interested in coming out to join us and lead us in another geocaching adventure? I understand that it is short notice, but I thought I’d ask.
You can reply to this message or give me a call at Youth Go at 920-722-1435. Hope all is well with you!
-Kelly”We will be out of town for a week of vacation (actually leaving tomorrow morning), or we’d be happy to do this again. If you are able to give them an afternoon or evening, please contact Kelly at the above phone number at your earliest convenience.
Thanks a lot. Chris & Jim

08/03/2011 at 2:15 am #1951097Per today’s Youth Go email to me (see above):
“We are taking our Youth Go Leadership Camping Trip next week Wednesday-Friday”.
The last time we did this with them, we spoke to the Youth Go folks and set up the geocaching time on the day and time that worked out for us and them.
If interested, call Kelly at Youth Go at 920-722-1435
Thanks, Jim
08/03/2011 at 10:31 am #1951098Yeah, I was just confused on the “next”, and how some people use it. To me, this means Aug. 10-12, where “this” would mean today through Friday, but sometimes people use next to mean “the next”.

I looked at their website. It is Aug 10 – 12.
