I know there must be really quick programs for getting photos off the SD card and posted various places. Because of my one techno-love, photography, I do take a fair amount of time with photos and use photoshop to load, size and crop if need be.

So what’s the quick and dirty way? TIA

I use PhotoBucket for my online photos. You can upload directly from an SD card. Obviously this bypasses all the cropping, sizing, touchups, etc. Photobucket also has 1-click for copying the code to insert here which is pretty handy by eliminating the need to copy / paste the url along with the start / end IMG tags.

Works great for uploading all the photos from those class field trips also.

I always edit on my computer then upload. I like to have control over how my photos look.

I use Photobucket for my hosting needs for various reasons such a cache page, ebay auctions, etc. If I have photos for viewing, then they go to my facebook page.

I use picasa, a freebie program from Google (picacsa.google.com). It will easily import photos from a camera or sd card into the program where you can crop, remove redeye, etc. Then you can quickly upload to a picasa albulm on the web (you can set the privacy to public, private, invitaion only, etc). There is also a plugin to quickly upload from picasa into facebook.
