I’ve noticed ammo can prices have skyrocketed recently. Today’s Fleet Farm flyer advertises them “on sale” (until Nov. 12) at $9.99 for a 50 cal, $7.49 for a 30 caliber. Not too long ago these were normal prices… glad I have a couple of spares.

Thanks for sharing…I guess I’ll go and pick up a few.

And did the FF flyer have fine print stating “Not available in Waupaca, …….?” Always hated that! 😡
Thanks for getting the word out. The 9.99 actually appears a bit down from the $11 they seemed to be charging over the past 1-2 years. Could be their sales on these stalled when they jacked up the prices by a good 30-50% a few months ago…………hmmmmmm, about the time reports of missing ammo cans went up? At least some thieves are nice, and leave the contents for the next finder 😕
I think the base price is going up also though, as military operations wind down and change. Hotdogs and I bid on an army surplus auction last summer and a bid in the 4.50 range was beat. I did end up getting 48 of the large 50 cal ammo cans for $5.11 a piece.
