I know GSAK can do it, I just don’t know what I need to do to do it.
What do I have to do so I can run a GSAK report giving me the details as to who as found the most of my caches? I have seen other post this info, and I know I have to run a PQ on my caches, but do I have to down load a macro or something? Thank for any help.11/12/2011 at 12:44 pm #1954434I’ve never GSAK generate it this way. I know the FindStatsGen macro will tell “me” who’s caches I’ve found, because it knows who the owner of each cache is. Going the other way would be tougher because currently a PQ download only contains the last 5 logs. As a cache owner you need all the logs for your caches to figure this out.
Update: GSAK 8.x is now connected to gc.com via the “Live API” and there are lots of additional data options. I haven’t bought the upgrade yet, but will be as it has some awesome features.
11/12/2011 at 2:54 pm #1954435Seems like I’ve seen it before, but I came up with the same dead-ends as CJ looking through GSAK (but did not know about GSAK 8X….and wonder why I have to pay more???????) No help here. ๐
But, you can always do it ‘by hand’…….that’ll keep you busy for the winter ๐

Yeah, Cheezehead NEEDS to keep busy over the winter on something besides coming up with puzzle caches!
For what it’s worth, HCH, we’ve found 65 of your caches… ๐ฏ ๐ณ
11/12/2011 at 11:29 pm #1954437The FindStats3 macro will tell you the top finders of your caches, however you do need a complete list of finders loaded in for your caches.
Since a PQ will only give you the last 5 finds, and the GPX download only gives the last 20, you really need to keep the stats of your caches updated frequently.
Not sure if version 8 will help with this at all as I’ve not taken the leap yet.
11/13/2011 at 4:48 am #1954438There is a macro add in to Findstats that does cache owner stats, if you look on my profile you will see some of the add ins and I believe that tells you who has found the most of your caches.

Yup! That’s what I’m looking for! Now where do I find it? ๐ฏ ๐
11/14/2011 at 2:54 am #1954440Actually, that not it. That a break down of owners of cache YOU have found, but I think that is what I have seen before.
11/14/2011 at 3:54 am #1954441I posted in the gsak forums, but the program that I used to use to do this has been removed because it “scraped” the GC site, and after the last upgrade is useless, upgrading to GSAK8 will make things all better as there is more intergration with the GC site and this stat will be made possible now.

This assumes you have retrieved all the logs for your caches.
11/14/2011 at 6:21 am #1954443GSAK 8 will now let you download the last 30 logs, which might be of some help.
11/14/2011 at 12:24 pm #1954444Here is the macro I was referring to, it also gives the stats but places in in your findstats display: http://gsak.net/board/index.php?showtopic=19632&st=0&#entry143162
This macro displays other cool data about your hidden caches also.As for the logs, use get all logs option under the geocaching live section and you get them for the filter if I understand how it works.
