So I was in the other thread talking about corrected coordinates and the topic somewhat derailed to a discussion about an offline data base for an android phone.

I did a search – and found such an application – Geocaching Droid Army Knife. Awesome application. Just copy over your GSAK database to the GDAK folder on the SD card of your android phone and you’re set to go.

For more details, look for GDAK or Geocaching Droid Army Knife in the android market.

I’m gonna love this app when I am in the field. This app is gonna rock – especially when I’m on a long hike for several caches.

That’s what we use as a gpx file intermediary between GSAK and c:geo, though it sounds like there are a lot more capabilities we’ve overlooked. Thanks for the info! 🙂
