1) During your 2 year term what would you personally like to see the WGA doing or heading too during your term?
2) What kind of caches do you personail like to find: micro, traditional, puzzels. etc.

1) Continue holding events in more areas of the state, I think our current way of doing this is working well.
Make continued efforts to promote the WGA among the geocaching community.
Look into the possibility of holding events in conjunction with other organizations (think West Bend Cache Bash).
2) I like searching for all kinds of caches really. Not a huge fan of puzzle caches (don’t have the ability to do puzzles very well). I guess traditional caches would be the bulk of my finds, a mix of container sizes from nano to large ammo cans. I’m not too picky when it comes to my caches.
01/16/2012 at 10:29 pm #1956013I have pretty much answered the first question in two other places, so no need to repeat.
As for the kind of caches I like to find, I like traditionals. A big ol’ ammo can 1/4 or 1/2 mile down a trail is about perfect. If there’s one or two on the way, even better. I don’t go out of my way for longer hikes, but I don’t shy away from them either.01/16/2012 at 11:12 pm #1956014For your first question, I mentioned a few things in my Candidate Corner profile.
For your second question, I try to seek all varieties of hides. If it is a tough puzzle, I will ask around or go with another cacher or 2. I’m alot less “techie”, and more “outdoorsie” as a geocacher, so if you want technical advice, ask someone else!
01/16/2012 at 11:29 pm #1956015I would like to see perhaps a annual conference that different topics related to geo caching would be presented . Set up a skill level recognition program. Set up a system that a catcher could call when heading out . To say I am going to be in this area.so someone could find you if you became missing or could call for some help if something when wrong . Which could be anything from a broken geo transportation unit. {BGTU} or a perhaps I am hurt send help. Set more educational opportunity related to the hobby. Set up a awards systems for mild stones . recognition for great catchers. But most of all follow thru on what the member ship would like to see .keeping in mind we are here for the members of the WGA. What kind of caches do I like
Some days Its big some times it is small . Some times It a quick find or first to find maybe a long walk Sometimes it may be a puzzle that needs to be solved only to find its . Or it may it may be the cache that was found last spring then again not until fall. as the last to find. or it may be the one that is needed to complete the trip to the final Which leaves us with the question . Is this today we will try to find many. Or do I try for the cache that has not found by so many Or the one with the view What size to I wish to find today. What challenge to I wish to do today. A new one a try again for the cache I did not find from some time ago . Or is it the one that will be fun or is it that we will find to have many memories those are caches I like best.
guide too}
01/17/2012 at 12:43 am #1956016Direction for the next two years – I would want to see the WGA continue working with the WDNR in promoting the State Parks. It is a project that was proposed but has hit a wall in the sense that the economy has not been favorable for extra programs through the WDNR. Also in that period, increased awareness about the sport for the general public, the institution of “fair play” rules perhaps to stem off the battles between the factions.
I would also like to see a WGA blimp covering the Brewers games…
Cache types: that often depends on the time I have available and how badly I need a caching fix.
Urban hides are a bit lower on the list than the suburban ones and out in the middle of nowhere caches are up toward the top. If I can find them, that makes them more favorite than the DNF’d ones.Disclaimer : Always answering to a higher power.
