How does it work when you go out a second time and find the cache? I have already filed a DNF, but have received some information from someone that did find it. They told be that the coords are off by almost 100 feet.
If I do find it, how do I retract/modify my initial report? Do I just need to add the note for the reviewer?
You should be able to keep the DNF LCG points because you went out there. If you go out again and find it, claim the new points as if you had found it the first time. The problem comes if you go out and DNF repeatedly, because that will start to look like you’re padding the LCG stats.
Sounds reasonable. Just wish I had the info the first trip. Almost 1 hour each way to this puppy.
