My wife and I are heading to Kenosha on June 9th and I would like to hear some recommendations for some memorable caches in the area that I might be able to hunt. We are heading there to the Lake Michigan coast to try and check out a couple lighthouses. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Some of my favorites:
GC31P3K Alex Series #3 – Southport Lighthouse
GC154R6 Kenosha’s Ramblers on the Yellowstone Trail
GCHR9R Lover’s Leap
GC7F54 Where Did I Park My Car?
GCGX86 Hidden Valley Overlook
GC33WNC The Gallant Men of Hwy 32
GCQHHH Roman Eyeballs
GC1Y33R Petrifying Springs Artesian Well
GC7354 Refreshing Find
Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll take a peek and see what they are about.
Anything in Petrifying Springs Park is good, also:
GC15578- Half Hook
GC11CRG- Fish Hook
GC33QMN-Itsy Bitsy
Those are all down by the lake.
Thanks ruff54. I have those 3 loaded already. Hoping to get them.[/list]
Both Half Hook and Fish Hook could take some time. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
Thanks for asking, as we’re going to a wedding in Racine in a couple weeks and plan to stay over and cache in an area where we’ve hardly found a thing. Nice to see quite of a few of the ones I’d bookmarked recommended on this list.
